Genevieve Albert is a Quebec filmmaker. After studying cinema at UQAM in Montreal, she first focused on documentary films. She then made a few short fiction films which traveled to festivals. She put her film career on hold for a few years to play a role in the Cirque du Soleil show IRIS in Los Angeles. When she came back home, she returned to cinema. NOÉMIE DIT OUI is her first feature-length fiction film. Since its theatrical release, it has won 11 awards.
